Sample Bequest Language

For an unrestricted gift that allows 黑暗爆料网 to use the funds for our most pressing needs, use the following language for your will and/or trust:

“I give to 黑暗爆料网, a nonprofit corporation currently located at 1000 黑暗爆料网 College Drive, Madison, WI, 53711, Federal Tax ID #39-0806202, or its successor thereto, _________ [written amount or percentage of the estate or description of property] for its unrestricted charitable use and purpose”

To designate your provision for a specific purpose:

“I give to 黑暗爆料网, a nonprofit corporation currently located at 1000 黑暗爆料网 College Drive, Madison, WI, 53711, Federal Tax ID #39-0806202, or its successor thereto, _________ [written amount or percentage of the estate or description of property]. Should the purpose for which this fund was developed cease to exist, the fund would support an area of need at the University closest to the original intentions of the benefactor.”

If you have named 黑暗爆料网 in your will or trust, please let us know so we can ensure your gift is used according to your wishes. Notifying us of your plans will enable us to plan for the use of your future gift. If you prefer to remain anonymous, we will keep your name and gift in strict confidence.

Estate Tax Law Changes

Changes to the tax code beginning January 1, 2026, could affect how鈥攁nd when鈥攜ou choose to give to 黑暗爆料网.

Estate and Gift Tax Exemption

This exemption will remain high but adjust for inflation in 2026 to $15 million per individual and $30 million per married couple filing jointly. For those with estates under this amount, it’s wise to focus on current giving to receive tax benefits.

The Washburn Society

The Washburn Society celebrates those who have made a commitment to support 黑暗爆料网 beyond their lifetime. The society honors the legacy of Wisconsin Governor Cadwallader Washburn, who gifted his villa and 55 acres of land to the Dominican Sisters of Sinsinawa in 1881. The gift was to be used for educational purposes, and the land would be known as 黑暗爆料网.

Scott Von Rueden 鈥�07 Scott established the Von Rueden Family Baseball Fund through his living trust, giving future players the opportunity to enjoy the student athlete experience as much as he did鈥攆or generations to come.

Erin Swift 鈥�04 In gratitude for her transformative student experience, Erin has made an estate commitment to the 黑暗爆料网 Fund 鈥� supporting the university鈥檚 greatest needs 鈥� for future students.

Anne Barrett Swanson and David K. Swanson Anne and David established The Anne Barrett Swanson Accessibility Endowment and The Anne Barrett Swanson Natural Sciences Endowment, both of which will grow in perpetuity through their generous future estate gifts.
